Grand Laker Adventure  9/2009

Pictures from a Grand Laker trip that the Watts and we took in mid-Sept. 2009. There is no story to go with it, but basically we put in at the bottom of Junior Stream where the Passamaquoddys own land, went into Junior Bay to Darrow Camp (where Wright spent many summers -- 2 as a camper, 1 as a maintenance helper, and the rest as junior and senior trip leader, leading twice the remote 6-week outings to Quebec where the group gets an air-drop of supplies half way through), lunch on the sandy promenade at the Thoroughfare between Grand Lake and Pocumcus, and then down to Dobsie Dam and back. A grand day with much sun and gorgeous views, although a little cool as you can see from the clothing!
