The Lakeville Camp Owners Association (LCOA) held its annual educational event on Monday, August 3rd at 10:00AM at the Sysladobsis State Boat Launch parking area. The topic discussed was the current efforts to conserve 2,025 acres of forest, including lake frontage on both Sysladobsis and Horseshoe Lakes. The Downeast Lakes Land Trust (DLLT) and The Trust for Public Land (TPL), along with a small committee of individuals, have been leading this effort. David Montague, President & CEO of the DLLT, was one of the speaker(s). |
